Most small business websites are heavy for no good reason. Speed is a decision made while building, not a plugin added afterwards.

Clean markup and real text rather than words baked into pictures, so search engines can read what you do and where you do it.
If I emailed you
I spend a lot of time looking at how small business websites are put together. When I notice something clearly wrong, a contact form that does not send, a link that goes nowhere, a site that falls apart on a phone, I write and tell you what it is.
There is no mailing list and no newsletter. Reply with the word unsubscribe and you will not hear from me again.
Often the thing I found is a ten minute job, and I will just tell you how to do it. If you would rather have something built properly, that is the actual work.
